Support is defined by the Webster dictionary as “giving assistance to especially financially; enable to function or act”. Recently someone I’ve come to know of, who I met on Instagram had a function coming up that I wanted to attend. By the time I got the dates and times I checked my work vacation calendar and couldn’t get the time off. Nor could I get a cheap turnaround flight to California. So, my next step to support was to buy 2 tickets and donate them, so someone could attend. That is how bad I wanted to be there.
Now not everyone will be able to do what I did to show someone support. Your financial status may be different from mine, but there are plenty of other ways you can support someone. I don’t live in Chicago, but I have a friend who owns a hair salon and transportation business. If you are ever in need of a makeover or your children need transportation, Total Look Beauty Hair Salon and Total Quality Transportation has got you covered. It doesn’t take much for me to share my friend’s business or products. You never know who is following your social media platforms and by you sharing they might try the product. I may not be able to support my friend physically but by me sharing her post and telling the people I may know in her city could help her in getting other customers.
Another way you can support people is reaching out to them when they come across your sprit. That contact from you could just be what they needed to get them through a particular time of the day. There were plenty of times when I was in a bad head space, and I would receive a text message from a friend or a card in the mail. That type of support was just what I needed at that moment.
Let’s do our best to support one another. Remember that support comes in different forms and when it comes from a place of love you can never go wrong. Let’s all go up together knowing that when one of us is winning, we all win.

It doesn't take any money out of your pocket to shout a person's business out or post it on your page. Some make it seem like it's difficult.
Just a quick phone call and pick someone up and be exactly what they needed that day.
